Brewery Advisory
An annual advisory that works alongside brewery management, tying six areas into a single perspective: product planning, sales strategy, overseas expansion, branding, tourism and finance. Built around a 1.5-hour monthly online meeting and four brewery visits a year, camo's CEO Aki Kawana stands beside you as you lead your brewery.

Business Succession Advisory
In brewery M&A and business succession, we act as the advisor to one side only, either the buyer or the seller. We are not an intermediary paid by both sides; we stand only with the party that engages us. camo is an operating company that carries out brewery successions and turnarounds itself, and drawing on what we have learned visiting more than 250 breweries across Japan, we help you see the value of a brewery that financial statements alone do not show, and plan for its growth after succession.
On the buy side, we support you all the way from evaluating candidate breweries, business due diligence, negotiation and closing, to the post-succession business plan and PMI. Our business due diligence assesses the brewery's resilience across ten areas: market and brand, sales channels, production facilities, quality, people and skills, raw material sourcing, water and location, inventory, licenses, and room for growth. On the sell side, we support you from clarifying the brewery's value to considering successors and negotiating terms. Financial, tax and legal investigations are carried out together with the specialists you appoint.
Our contracts follow the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency's SME M&A Guidelines, and we set out how we avoid conflicts of interest and how our fees work in advance.
